For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor,NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

All Hands Magazine's full length documentary "Making a Sailor": This video follows four recruits through Boot Camp in the spring of 2018 who were assigned to DIV 229, an integrated division, which had PIR on 05/25/2018.
Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.
Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass isno longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hi andrap53, I believe I have seen you post this question before. Did you ask N4Ms Admins? They might be able to help? Did you try contacting the base he deployed from? Your son most likely would have put you on his contact list, meaning the Navy can contact you or respond to you regarding him. Of course, they have to stay within OPSEC but I believe they can tell you what sub your son is on & the Ombudsman for the sub. The Ombudsman is the contact between Navy families & their sailor's vessel. I believe the Chaplain(s) at the base might be helpful also. If this does not help you, let me know & I have another source I can give you that might guide you. Blessings,
