OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

RTC Graduation

Hi Jeanne,

Tough week. We're all waiting for good news that our boys have all made it through. Can't imagine how difficult it is for them. Trying to hang in there and stay positive. BTW -I'm Cathy. Div 164 will be wearing red scarfs.

Hi Granny,
My grandson has lived with me for the past 3 1/2 years. My daughter and grandaughter live just around the corner, so my grandchildren have pretty much grown up in both houses. I feel like I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of their lives. I have not worked for a few years and have had even more time to spoil him. I'm really proud of him and am praying all goes well and that he will graduate with no problems. We are all leaving for Chicago on Wed 4/21. At first he was not too happy at BC. They pulled his wisdom teeth. At the last cal lhe was doing much better so he tells us. You know how it is....we worry, right?

Hello grannytr, glad to hear from you. I have gotten so much needed information from the site, but haven't said too much because I'm not the Mom, not that I don't have the same feelings they do. I love my grandson and have been fortunate that we are close. Can't wait to see him on the 23rd. He is in Ship 10/Div 164. We miss him so much. Thanks for the request. It'll be nice to talk to another grandmother.

I have some connections with a few chaplains, but not too many. Most of us are retired now that were in when I was. I was medically retired in 1990. One of my friends even became an admiral (chief of chaplains) and is also retired now. Blessings on you.
