Hi navynana. My name is Jeanne. I am still working and so is my daughter so I don't get to see the grandkids in Texas as much as I'd like. We try to get down there a couple of times a year, but we have always been close to Ted. We are leaving on the 22nd to drive to Chicago. Ted's parents and sister are flying up on Thursday. Are you going to the meet and greet at the Ramada? It's for anyone, but they'd like for you to sign up and get your name posted on the spreadsheet. Just post a comment if your daughter hasn't listing your recruit's first name, ship/div info and 1st names of family coming.

I understand your feelings. When I saw your name I was thrilled. Ted just turned 19 and his family lives in Dallas. They have lived all over due to his dad's job, but we have always been close. He is our oldest. I am so excited about PIR. Ted is Ship 10/Div 165. He is our first grandchild and it was four years before we had another.

Ted has never been good at submitting to authority so we were concerned about how he would do. He was determined to be the best when he went to bootcamp and I can only hope that he is now seeing the importance of discipline. I'm certain he will be an excellent sailor.
