Hi - My son is in class 1107T.  Didn't want to get too specific on the PIR group.  How's your son doing?  Mine is doing good with classes but he still hasn't phased up because he is short 2 pushups for is PFA.  He didn't want to do all that silly physical fitness stuff during DEP.  Guess he has to learn.....Hopefully next time he'll phase up.

You can have a great visit in Goose Creek. We have been to Charleston many times and are having withdrawal from it now that our sailor has moved on.

Sorry we didn't get to meet during PIR weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if we see each other at one of the Nuke school graduations though. See you on the nuke mom site : )

Cheryl - I saw that you were staying at the Courtyard Marriott and wanted to give you a heads up. When I called late last week, I was told that the "graduation" rate was used up and was told that was around 94 a night. So then the lady told me I could get a special rate on a room with a king bed and sofabed for $66 dollars. So I ended up getting a much better rate than the graduation one. If you had to pay the 94 dollar rate, you might want to call and see if they have any of those king rooms left. Just thought I'd pass it on : )
