OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

@CRISMOM3... you were allowed to go toMEPS?? or did you go to the hotel.. I was told we could only go to the hotel and then say our "goodbyes" and our next contact would be the 15 second phone call. When my daughter does finally leave from fort dix. I would gladly go and be there to see her off... Congratulations to you NAVY MOM.. a wonderful journey lies ahead for your son...xoxoxo Happy Thanksgiving... We are from Hightstown.. where are you from ???
