Welcome, welcome...new navy wife!

YOUR sailor's heart weighs more than his USS ship-hand's down!

If these existing navy wives and "SO"'s do not support you --as you battle being alone while he is away at sea? Shame on them--for my GOD knows your sailor's heart....and the precious dues he has paid......to keep his committment and serve this country.

You are LOVED!

WELCOME!

I hope you're able to ship your dog out! Sometimes it's harder being away from them than the rest of my family! Have you gotten your id yet? They signed me up for the insurance when I got my id. I hate huge commissary but the prices are so much better! I've started looking for a job but honestly 2 of my friends from home are coming to visit tomorrow for the weekend so I wasn't looking too hard because I didn't want up be working whe they were here! What kind of jobs are you looking for? I'm looking for hotel or restaurant. I would love to come over for dinner!  Maybe we can get together one afternoon next week or something?

I had a very easy time getting my military id but haven't gotten my base parking pass yet. I'm dreading that a little bit I've heard it's a hassle! Since my husband is still in school we won't have a deployment for a couple of years but I'm already not looking forward to it. Are you at least going to be able to go home for the holidays? It's definitely hard being out here by yourself, I'm sorry about your dog! We were supposed to bring mine but unfortunately she wasn't healthy enough to make the trip (from Florida) so we actually adopted one when we got here. She's a little monster but definitely helps when it gets lonely! I would love to meet you one day maybe for coffee or something? It would be nice to get to know someone in the same situation out here!

We've been here for about 3 weeks now, since Dec. 31. He's been here since November but I moved after we got married. He's stationed near Point Loma but he's her for school for now! We have at least 2 years of school and hopefully after that we'll be staying! We' live in the Mission Valley area, not too far from La Mesa I think!
