FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Just wanted to say Hi.....how was your husbands PIR? I would really love to know how it went and if you have any tips for me.  My son's PIR is next week April 15!!!!!! I can't believe its so close. We are so excited my two other son's, husband and my SR girlfriend will be going. Hope all went well for you and your little one.

Hey so I hear our sailors know eachother lol my fiance asked me do u know so and so's wife I said I know a lot of the wifes and gfs lol I showed him the pic and he pointed ur husband out well we need to keep in touch since they have a school together and I belive the same job :)

I got my phone call today.  WOW was I suprised!!! My son was doing great and loving the Navy.  He said he mailed a letter this week so I think I will get it tomorrow. So sorry that you were having a bad day yesterday Im hoping today was better. If you need anything let me know.

Just wanted to say Hi...Sounds like you had a good call with your husband I am so happy for you and you little girl. I am hoping to get a letter from my son this week. His girlfirend got one last week so if should be my turn.  I was just woundering if your husband signed up at the recuiter office in Norwalk? That is where my son did. I getting excited to go to the PIR in April and I am sure you are too.

Hi I am soooooo happy you got a call. Im still waiting for my 1st letter.My son arrived on Feb 15, 2011 so we are a week behind you.  I got the form letter last week so I am hoping to get a real one this week. How long were you able to talk to your husband? Are you planing on going back for his PIR? We just made all of our arrangements. Keep in touch.

I wanted to say Hi....I live in La Mirada and was so happy to find someone so close to home. My son left for bootcamp on Feb 15, 2011 his PIR date is 4/15/11. Hope all is going well for you and your family.
