Hi Connie,

I sent you a friend request last Friday, meant to send a message with it, but was too quick with the click I guess. Anyway, I think our son's are in the same class (along with Kat's son), and I'd like to stay in touch as we all go thru this journey.

Hi! I just had to see your page and sure enough you did have a cute horse pic (along with your very handsome son!). I hope your mare gets through all this but it sounds like you and your husband have a lot of experience and you will do all you can to help her. I am so envious on your lifestyle... I'm sure you have days where you can't even sit because you are so busy but you should know that I would love to trade places with you :) Have a great Thanksgiving and I'll be thinking about you and your mare!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn , very nice, indoor pool, hot tub, gym, free breakfast for Grad families using the Navy rates. We left later then we wanted to for the Graduation and the traffic was terrible. So if you want the best seats then get there before 6 am. Of course we had a huge graduating day 14 divisions, 1098 sailors. We did not take the shuttle we drove. The hotel gave us directions which kept us off the major highway.
Yes my son is a nuke and did the schools. He was in South Carolina for A and B school and New York for C school. Then he has been stationed in CT since then.

Hi there yourself. Any phone calls yet? Let me know which hotel you booked. My Aunt is also in the area, we visited about 10 years ago! I'm not too worried about getting around.

Hi foaling-lady! I am holding up better than I thought I would. My husband worked nightshift for 4 years, so the not sleeping next to him at night hasn't been that big of an adjustment even though he has been laid-off for the past 6 months prior to leaving for GL. I am just looking forward to actually being able to send letters and getting his box of personal items. I hope it comes soon.

How have you been holding up these past few days? From everything that I have read on here, it gets easier over time. Just hang in there and remember that it is ONLY 8 weeks. It will fly by and then we will be able to see our loved ones again.
