Graduation Butterflies As Time Draws Near - PIR 08/23/2013

Hallelujah!  2 1/2 weeks till Graduation for PIR 08/23/2013.  Life is not a race - but indeed a journey.  In Isaiah we read - "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles".   I pray the peace of God be with my Sr as he begins this new journey to greater and more glorious things.”  He will spread his wings to heights unknown.  Always in my heart, mind and soul he will forever remain where ever he may go, where ever he may be.  19 days from…

*Touch-Down* - My 3rd Letter From My Sr.

Posted on July 29, 2013 at 3:55pm 0 Comments

I just got home & FOUND a LETTER in the mail from my son. Apparently it came last Fri 7/19 or Sat 7/20 & my husband didn't see it. In many ways I am *Happy*  :) but Sad. I could not read the Letter from crying. He said it was hard for him to hold back the tears while writing to me.

Half Way to PIR 8/23

Posted on July 22, 2013 at 9:35pm 0 Comments

I've lost count of the letters & cards I've written to my Sr. Countless thought continue to flood my mind.  I find myself continuously jotting down notes to write in my letters.  Just think, we're half-way to PIR day.  What a Grand and Glorious Day that will be.  I can hardly wait to share those magical moments in time with my Sr.  Moments to treasure for a lifetime.

That is so awesome! I'm so happy to hear you got a call! My husband called me saturday morning and the first thing I said was "Baby?! Is this really you?!" The minute I heard him sayd "Yes", I cried like a baby!!! Lol. I was just sooo overwhelmed with joy to finally hear from him. :) And he sounded so happy and motivated! He actually said he liked it out there! Lol. I tols him not to get too comfortable since our daughters and I miss him like crazy! Haha. GOD IS GOOD! :) Will you be going to any of the meet and greets the day/night before graduation?

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones); I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members). Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted". What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
