Hi Nancy!!!  Just stopping by to say hello. How was your trip? I lost you after they called liberty and didn't see you afterwards.

I had an amazing trip and an amazing experience with my son. He just arrived in Florida this morning. I'm waiting on that call for his address and first day experience.

keep in touch!

Hi cherry,

I'm trying to still figure out this site too. I don't know if anyone has responded to anything I've said, unless I send a personal message, which is what I've been doing. Anyways, I am doing better, thanks for asking. I've realized I could take off Mondays and Tuesdays from stalking the mailman, and Wednesdays, my antennae are up...and Thursday.... Look out Mailman! There had better be something from my son! .... So, I'm able to fit more time in to relax.  Lol! just kidding!  I've found comedy is helping also.

But, really it is getting easier with time and hearing other's stories. Thanks for getting back to me!    Keep in touch...

Hi Nancy.  I'm so glad that he took the time to write you.  I heard he grinned from ear to ear when he received mail at mail call & he was very excited about having someone to write back to.  It feels so good to put a smile on someone elses face, doesn't it?

Thanks from me & my son for reading my plee, and stepping up!

Hey! How are you holding up? I noticed you are the closest to me, in miles. I'm back from camping and came home to find the form letter from my son! I think I can relax more!   He said, he was doing good. that he had just given a pint of blood and almost fainted (ha ha) and that he had not started PT yet.(but, this was still the first week) he said, the date is the 20th. He said, he loved and missed us all dearly, and would write more soon!

That was all I needed to know HE IS OK.

It took 8 days from Great Lakes to California. I'm gonna go with... this is going to be the norm. Just so I don't keep building on this anxiety, thats keeping me up at night.

Do you think our sons have become friends?... Being they left the same day, are in the same ship and division? I suppose its possible. There are 80 of them in each division. At least, that is what his recruiter tells me.  I'd like to hear from you. keep in touch.
