Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

We are planning on renting an RV and driving out to our sons graduation in February....does anyone know if there is an RV park near by?

my Joe has one week in at MM school , started last Monday.. just phased up to phase II liberty (?) gues its weekend away or overnite? have to scoot to work, hubby just left for stress test.. thank goodness this morning cause he's stresssing out about it.. miss the letters, just sent one out last night maybe he'll reply lol..

okay did i hear right they have either a small2 bedroom  apt. type setting with 2 sailors to a bedroom  or older building with small college dorm type room (bed/desk.)... my Joe said he was moving over to A schopl today but still haven't heard anything... thinking of sending phone and small stuff and waiting to come up on weekend when he has liberty to bring laptop since we're just 1hr 20 minutes (if no traffic) away.. BC done now on to schooling and the rest of our adventures.. thanks for all the info,kind words and encouragement.
