Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

my husband is still in BC and i was told his A school is in SA. do you know how long the schooling is? does he only go to school in SA, i have seen tat he goes there for 40days then off too two other Aschools. is this true?

I just read your post on SA MAA's and you mentioned the gift baskets. Do I send you some money or just tell you what he likes and you send it to him? I live in St. Louis Missouri which as you know is not close to the base. I also added you as a friend. He was in Division 931 that graduated on 6/18/10. please keep in touch!!

yes take lots of tissues dont forget your sweater the kids all had colds or sore throats my son just wanted to take a long bath and sleep and eat some different food he was glad to talk to some of his friends so dont forget the cell phone and the laptop if you have one they just want to relax we went to a movie but didnt do to much i bought him a laptop for his birthday since it was the sunday we were there i bought over the counter stuff for his sore throat that seemed to help just have a good time with each other he might be tired and just be happy to see you let

1 and a half hours then they will let them go but they have to fill out paper work and that can take three to five hours so you might want to come back and get him .it depends on his a school how much time he spends with you some have to be back at 830 every night some can stay for the weekend some leave for a school at graduationlet me know if there is anything else i can tell you have a great time at pirwhen you go take a lot of pictures they all looked so nice

hi we went to pir this weekend it was great to see my son the gate opened at 645am and about 15 mins later the parking lot was half full so when you go i would go as soon as the gate opens they check your car and when you park you go through a couple of buildings into the main one you find your ship number and div and sit across from thatthere is coffee and drinks to buy take a sweater its really cold or a jacket even although you are inside if you get there at the start you will wait about two hours till you see them then the graduation takes about a

Please help me. My husband is concerned because he doesn't know where he is going after bootcamp i mean his school. does your husband know where is he going after bootcamp? and he told me there the majority know where are going after bootcamp. thanks for adding me and offer your help. anything you need just let me know.

joshswife ~ Thanks. I also heard that he could buy a card on base, but that the time it takes to stand in line to purchase one is taken away from his actual talk time. So I'm hoping that by sending him one, I'll save him 10 minutes of talk time.! :)

Being a single mom is hard when you are use to having his loving hand beside you up to this point. I hope and pray a letter comes for you on Saturday..
