I've seen some not so nice reviews. I might have to look around a bit more.
It's so ironic that you sent this message when you did. My husband and I had just been talking about this. He looked at me yesterday and asked how are you doing. I started crying and said not good. I really, really thought that it would be better by now but it's not. There are days that I just stare off into space for most of the day.
The college thing....I'm so sick of people telling me they understand because when their kids are leaving for college. NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!! Your right, they can call, text or even in a pinch go see there child when they leave, we can't. As I put it to my best friend (which I felt a little bad about yelling at her), you can call, text and go see your daughter. Not only can I not do this they're going to give him a gun and he has the potential of having a gun pointed back at him. Now, tell me do you want to switch? She started to cry and said she was sorry and didn't think about it like that.
I'm glad that people have been getting calls from their SR but I'm so mad when I don't get one. I just want to know that he is ok and if he likes it or hates it. I saw someone comment on here Sunday (I forgot who) that she broke down at brunch and had been in bed for the rest of the day. I feel the same way, I just won't allow myself to do that. I don't want my other son to feel like he doesn't matter just because Trent isn't here.
I'm concentrating on booking our trip for PIR. Just think we get to see them next month:) Feels like an eternity but still next month.
I'm here for you and I'm sorry I sound like a broken record.
Talk to you soon.
Hi, you still need to make change number 2 to remove your last name from the URL above.
Please help the member below to practice PERSEC and delete her comment to you since she has posted her SR's full name. You can also delete this comment once you have done that. Remember if you do choose to share full names to do so only in a PM through the site rather than openly on the web. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Your Username appears to contain your last name; if so, you should change that and the URL to this page. Numbers 1 and 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes To Your Profile) (clickable link) will tell you how to fix both. There may be other changes you will want to make as well, such as numbers 3 and 4. Join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in June, to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together. What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
