Brenda so sorry I haven't answered, I don't get to get on here very often. We are from Billings and it would be great to meet you when we all get out there. We are staying at the Ramada. Hope your SR is doing well, I know it's so hard always wondering... I've only had one 4 min phone call and a handful of letters... got one today and he sounds better that he has since he left.. hope the remaining tiome passes fast....

Brenda- I have read that anyone can attend Meet & Greet at the Ramada- that is attendingPIR. Ramada is about 4 miles form the base and the Lodge is about 1 1/2 miles. Just info for a informed decision. The Lodge does not have shuttle service, so I have read.Where ever you stay we will connect and meet.We have sent several letters of encouragement in the last few days but nothing back yet. I sent Breanna the questionaire that was on the N4M site> She tought it was funny but I got alot of info from it- Short and to the point- bunk top or botton-- bunkmate name-- 82 girls in the room--passed fitness with 36 push ups 67 sit ups etc etc.All good info!! Brenda- Shuttle to PIR is easy while staying at the local hotels- so I've read from the site. We have to drive for my husbands need for his mortorized chair. He can not walk the distances at PIR. And the Navy Lodge isn't that far from the base. In my Jeep we will have four people- husband, me Sarah and Rick- Breanna's boyfriend. I'm not sure yet about Breanna's parents - when and if attending. Breanna is going to Pensicola for IT training. And again I'm looking forward to meeting you. We will be in the Lodge Thursday evening. Talk again soon. Donna

Brenda- No letter since Breanna thought she was coming down with a cold. But at home she was great at fighting it off and not getting too sick. Hope her luck continues. We have our trip pretty well planned out. Are you still staying with your sister? We booked into the Navy Lodge. I've been really busy- canning- and getting Sarah ready for school. We helped Bryant move his stuff back to college-- It wouldn't all fit in his car. So after Breanna's graduation things here will go down to a dull roar. Ha! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family at PIR. From what I read the Div. has a asigned seating area. It's letter time to Breanna while I still have some energy. Talk soon Donna

Brenda- Yes I received a call.... Very short about 4 minutes. I assume it was an instructor that hollered "Got to go get off the phones" Breanna said (in tears) I can't talk anymore or make my other calls Call everyone for me and say I'm sorry. She's feeling OK- just felt like she was coming down with a cold-- that lots of gals already have. It's going around. I said they would give her tylenol and cough drops- and she would be a couple of days behind in her work-"So I 'll shake it off" So that was my call. What did you find out? Supper time now so I'll drop you another note later. Donna

Brenda- Thanks for the info-- I figured it had to be something like that. In all the videos I have seen online about Great Lakes, it shows girls and guys together with classroom and PT activities . I have yet to get the first regularly written letter. Everyone has promised to share the first arrival of a letter. I'm sure Breanna is handling the stress and strain of BC. She can be a tough lady. My only concern is the continued lack of sleep- That could be a concern. I pray she pulls it out from way inside to handle it. Have a good day.... Talk again soon. Donna

kolomom I'm sure that is the right one.. I was curious since it is a 13 ship and that's what the recruiter said my daughters was, I don't have a letter yet, so I don't know what my PIR will be yet :(
