Hi, have you got a phone call from your son yet?  My son called me saturday.  We were able to talk a little over 30 minutes.  He sounds good..  Said he was eating good (you know thats a mom question)... I have been so relieved since then because he sounded in good spirits..  Hope you heard from your son, if not it will be soon.  Chasz told me they were going to be able to write yesterday..

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com.  My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012.  He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron.  He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic.  I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.  My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp.  I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.

I've BEEN ready for a phone call... But another girl on here (Chanel) said it perfectly, once you strat planning for graduation it gets exciting...  It kinda takes your mind off the worry and aims it more towards seeing them again and all the pride that purs out of you..  His recruiter told me there is a good chance he may not call for a couple of more weeks..Who knows, he could hve told me that just to get me to stopa calling him and asking questions everyday!...lol...  dont worry leighann, 5/17 will be here before we know it..
