Hi Linda.  I live in central Phoenix, about a mile away from your aunts!  I'm at 15th Avenue and Glendale.  I hope I get a letter from Lynsey today!!  She called me that last two Tuesdays just needing information for her top secret security clearance.  She couldn't talk to me about anything else.  I got two letters from her, brief ones.  She had to cut her hair to her chin and she hates it.  She was complaining about the other girls in the division not listening and her getting yelled at because of them.  I keep telling her to be a leader and kick their butts.  I'll let you know if I get a letter.

Hi Linda.  Thanks for getting in touch.  My son, Christian, is 18, and has been on the Delayed Entry Program for over 6 months.  It seemed like it took forever for his ship date to arrive but then all of a sudden it was here :-)  Love the pictures you have posted.  Cakes are very cool :-)  Will your son go to Pensacola after graduation?  I'm still trying to figure out if everyone that is in Christian's division will stay together after graduation to the same schooling program or not.  I was told by the recruiter that they would try and keep same school people together in the division whenever possible, but am finding that a lot of the info that I got from the recruiter isn't the most accurate :-)  Look forward to getting to know you on this website.  I'm still trying to learn my way around on here.  Take care and talk to you soon.

Safe travels to NY! Are you heading to NYC? If so we'll be having a milder, sunnier weather starting Monday, so I hope you get to enjoy it! I work for an event planning company in the city and my boss has two small children so she's always showing me cute children's apparel (she's in love with crewcuts from J.Crew).

My boyfriend Michael is 26. He took a break from his BS Polynomer course in Clemson, SC and after a year, decided to join the service which was always his dream (his dad was in the Army and Mike grew up in a traveling military family). I often joked with him that he should be called "Grandpa" while at the RTC, but I know that his older age will be more of an advantage to him that a set back :)  Anyway, I can't wait to mention Jon in tonight's letter. I've already mentioned April's son. I wonder if he'll share what I wrote with  the others? I'm sure they'll get a laugh out of this!
Have you found anyone else who has a son or significant other in the same ship/div?

I am so jealous that you will have some wonderful distraction to pass the time!  I am out of work with a  back injury - workers' comp., so very frustrating - ugh.  You have to go to my page and friend request missa m.  Her boyfriend is with our sons and he will also be going to nuke school in Goose Creek like my son!  :)  Since I'm home, ugh, I'll do research and try to find more moms that have sailors with our sons. My son, Ryan, is also 22 :)  More later -- of course I'm having computer issues!  It's wiped out my message to you -- TWICE!!!  I like to send messages by inbox as they are private, and you can reply an refer to the original message as you go.....SO GREAT to have contact!  :)  ~April
