Navy Wedding Vows very Comical

True Vows

Dear family and friends, we are gathered here today in the sight of God and the Department of the Navy, to witness this exchange of vows, and see the love that these two dedicated, loving people have for one another.

"Wilt thou, __________, take ___________ as your dependent, to dwell together in so far as the Department of the Navy will permit? Wilt thou love her, comfort her via the postal service, E-mail, or over the phone, make sure she knows where the…

In the Tinker group is Patti - she lives in Midwest City, close to Tinker. You may want to ask her questions about the area close to the base. I should have thought about her before. She would be a good resource - just "click' on her picture in the member section of our group.

Keep me posted on your impending move!!

I asked my daughter about housing additions. Her former boyfriend was an Air Force Academy grad later stationed at Tinker. She said to look in SW Moore/NW Norman for newer affordable housing with good resale. Access to the interstate is easy (I-35). Wasn't sure if you would buy or rent. She indicated there are rental homes in that area too.

Have a good weekend!

I live in the northern suburb of OKC - Edmond. OU is in Norman - the southern suburb. Tinker is more less between. Wondering if you have school age kids to be concerned with school systems? And, are you planning on looking for a job? What area of work? Norman is a nice community with the Univ. and the interstate goes towards Tinker and then a "left turn" to catch an other interstate to Tinker. Any idea when you will move here?

Let the group know if you will be stationed at Tinker AFB and when. I live in the OKC metro (a transplant from the north!). My daughter is Navy med attending OU med school. Am certain you will find friendly people on and off base!

mail~ plain white envelope, no scents, no stickers, no drawings, you can send pictures but no inappropriate content, no magazines - but you can send an article or two. He can only write to you on Sunday the first month (approx) - but write him everyday. He will get mail every business day. He may not receive mail the first week or two - they have to catch up to him. Be creative - makes some cards - ClipArt is free : ) ~ kk

ps...He is going to miss you terribly and be sooo homesick! Be strong for him and make sure you tell him that you miss him and that you are so proud of him!
