My daughter left this evening and now I am awaiting her arrival call. I am so happy for her, proud of her, and scared for her. She's a lil bit of a thing but I know she can do it. I don't like…Continue
Yes they do monitor the conversations. I believe the main reason they say stuff to the SRs is to see their reaction. If she doesn't react, they'll leave her alone....I know that from experience....if she reacts negatively it will continue. I know that because one of the kids in my sailors division reacted and told his mom to stop using the website and the RDC's kept at him.my advice is tell her to be strong....because they are testing her strengths and weaknesses. Tell her to be STRONG!! I hope it gets better for you both! How's everything else? When does she graduate? You must be so excited. Let me tell you PIR is so awesome! My son gained two pounds but looked so much thinner. Almost withdrawn!! But he is loving A school! You can private message me and then nobody sees the conversation. Just an FYI! Have a great night!!
Hey girl long time no talk! How's your daughter and granddaughter holding up? Better question....how are you holding up? We spoke. While back...hope you remember! So her PIR is just about a month away. My sons is 1/11 sneaking up quickly, and I cannot wait. I've received letters every week, sometimes twice a week but only had three calls, last one before thanksgiving so I'd love to hear his voice again soon! Lol so anyway....just wanted to say hi again and wish you luck! Any questions just ask!
Awwww, I'm so happy for you! It's a mix between happy and sad at the same time, right? Yes may even get the letter today....if your mail didn't come yet because the box comes fed ex (mine did) and the letter post office. If not, then Monday! Have a nice weekend!
Wow, that's awesome! You're emotions will be all over the place until you know she's ok. I warn you ahead of time she may sound almost robotic when she calls you tonight...don't get alarmed it expected. This doesn't mean she's not happy, just a lot going on and the chiefs and petty officers will be yelling to get some order. Plus they move so quickly and the call will be no longer than 30 seconds. Probably go like this....yeah I'm here safe you'll be getting a box with my clothes and stuff in it and you'll hear from me in about three weeks..I gotta go...love you and then the phone hangs up! Don't be sad....it's all part of the program! I'm here for you girl!
Hi, I see your daughter is going to be an MA. MA is a rating dear to my heart since I have an MA. Sometime between now and the end of BC, join the groups San Antonio MA's (be sure to check out the top 3-4 discussions) and MAA Moms. I look forward to getting to know you better in those groups. If you have any questions, just ask. Two other groups are New MAA Mom's and Security Sailors, but they are not very active. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
