Hello again...I am not on here very much either, so missed your message. It would have been fun to meet...so sorry it didn't happen! Maybe somewhere down the road. My son ended up NOT leaving for Groton, as his nut allergies needed to be tested. Never dreamt that it could keep him from serving on a sub! He is in the holding unit at GL, waiting for determination/orders. At least he is being kept busy...working & taking a needed class. It was sooooo good to see him, and soooo hard to once again say goodbye! How is your son adapting to Groton? That will be a whole new experience for us all. Hope to hear back from you soon...take care!
We are staying at the Sheraton so wherever you guys decide to meet the night before we will try to come...we are also meeting up thursday night with my son from tennessee and my nephew and his wife from San Diego...can't wait for all of us to be together all six of us

Looking for loved one with SR's in Ship12/Div.097 - PIR MAR.30th
Pauls Mom- I called the recruiter for her address. I received her address in less than a week but it's going to take at least that long, but try the recruiter, your son will send you a printed letter with his address and graduation info. on it, that took just over a week for it to come so it was easier to call the recruiter and not worry.
Here is the link to the Survival Guide - this way, you'll always have it on your own page for referece. All the links to groups, videos, etc. are contained within. Just click on the below underlined link. Everything you need to know to get through from before bootcamp, through bootcamp and beyond. Good luck to you and your sailor recruit and thank your recruit for us.
