You mom's are so awesome, I don't know what I would do without all of your genuine comments. My family won't even call me or anything. I think they think I have fallen off the deep end. Today I called my hair dresser, yeah that's right, who knows you better than her. She has to listen to you, your paying her, she isn't going to tell you to shut up. Anyway I cried to her asking for prayers for my son. She was so compassionate, she prayed for both of us. Why doesn't your family understand like people you barely know do? I read all your stories and I realize I 'm not nuts, I am just like the rest of you. Loving caring mothers who are separated from their child and missing them. Thank you all for being there for all of us!

Make at least change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link).

If your Username contains your last name, also make changes 1 and 2.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with your recruit.

Since you have a recruit at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." You can make that change on the same page when you change the ZIP Code.

My Son Leaving is Leaving for Bootcamp 1/23/2020

Posted on January 18, 2020 at 12:28am 6 Comments

My youngest son is leaving for !
Bootcamp on 1/23/2020. He seems to be ok & ready to face this next phase in his life, but I’m a little anxious. I’m super proud but I’m not scared because I know he has a good head on his shoulders.
Are there any other moms with a child leaving for Bootcamp on 1/23/2020?
