I'm sure you will hear from him soon. I wish I would have not started crying and told him a few things but I was at a conference when I got the call so service was not good and I heard his voice shake and I was done. It's so hard not knowing if he's okay. He called his girlfriend after and she said he sounded strong. I have been sending letters too. I'm hoping he calls again on Saturday. Are you going to graduation?
Yea!!! You are so lucky that you got a call from your son. I have been hearing all day that Moms have been getting calls. I wish and keep wishing that I would get one. I've been GLUED to my phone. I told a couple of my Navy Mom friends this morning that I just had a hunch it would happen. It did for them. Oh well, I'll just keep hoping and hoping. I sure would love to hear his voice. I was discussing it with my hubby and he's kept saying, you know he's alright, don't stress over it. I had to tell him that he just didn't understand that I just want to be able to hear his voice and talk to him. For now, I will just keep writing my letters and hoping for mail too. I've never been so excited to check my mailbox before. LOL
What rating does your son have? Mine is going Nuke. This is a bumpy roller coaster ride, but it has it fun parts too. I know I was in 7th heaven when I got his box and form letter. The next thrill will be coming up. Hang in there...we are going to get through this like STRONG NAVY MOMS!
