OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Profile Information

A little about me:
Although I am not a Navy mother, I am a Navy wife to a wonderful man. I live in NM while he lived in AZ so has been a long distance relationship. I'm very proud of his decision to enlist in the Navy and I'm very curious to know what this life will bring. I feel that by educating myself with what he will experience, I will feel better about the time we have to spend apart. I'm eager to meet and interact with people who are going through a similar time as I. I'm not surrounded by many military families or anyone who has someone in the military so I feel like I don't have someone who knows how I feel and that is why I joined this site :)

Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi!  We'll see you at Sarge's. I hope we get there on time but we might be a little late too - driving from Kansas City and picking up other son at O'Hare on the way.  We'll get there on time if everything goes right!  7 more days and one sleep :-)

The "date" you asked for on the PIR page for your division is:  Monday night, the 8th (overnight drill), calls the next afternoon.  We THINK!  :-)  There could be changes.

Thank you :) Congratulations to you to! I cut my hair about 3 years ago as well a little below the shoulder. Ive just had trims since then. But I think my hair grows pretty fast.

We have been engaged for a little over 2 months but have been dating for five years. How long have you been with your boyfriend? Oh I know what you mean! It took a while for my hair to get this long.
