For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor,NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Hi. No I haven't received the letter yet, but I just finished texting his recruiter asking what ship and the PIR date. Just from what I've seen on here, I'm guessing PIR will be May 4th. Just a guess. If I get a response back from the recruiter, I'll post it right away! Nice to meet you!
Hi jcandelas, thanks for contacting me. It's nice to be able to communicate with another mom with a son in the same ship/division. I am anxiously awaiting his form letter so I can send a letter. Keep in touch
Yes I know....I miss my son as well....I am anxious to hear from him...his box arrived yesterday but there was no letter or information in it ...just his belongings :( do you know your sons ship# and Div # yet?

We have a Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link). You'll find everything you need to get started. Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient. Best part is it'll be here on your very own page as a reference. Click the MY PAGE tab on above menubar to access your page anytime - you should do it at least once a day to see if you have any postings on your comment wall (like this one). Good luck.
