congratulations on your marriage! we were thinking of marrying in a couple of months while he is in A school...it would be just a quick wedding, basically for legal paperwork, and then we would have a traditional wedding deal in about a year. i trust my man, it's just hard b/c i've never had to do a long distance relationship before, and it's hard, really hard!!! lol. what did you do for your wedding? how do you handle the distance?

hi :) yes, he is going to be in groton for sub school, then possibly staying there for a school after. it's only been a week since he's left and i'm already struggling!! i don't have much support at home, i think my family is majorly scared and concerned for me. but, i love my sailor. i just have to keep thinking positively and make sure i have a lot of trust!!! lol....they have more freedom now : /

Hi Sacha, we are thrilled for PIR, so much to do before though. As far as rate, no idea he has never talked about it, so not sure what it is, lol. He only gives as much info as he thinks we need. Take care, hope your weather is as fine as ours has been this weekend.

Jeremy called. He sounded horrible. He has a really bad sore throat and said he had been up for 34 hours so far. That was at about 2pm. he said he has been coughing so hard he is coughing up a little bllod but thinks he is better. I hope he goes to the infiramry or whereever it is they go now that everything is settling down. He was glad they all passed but he was so tired it was hard for him to be really enthusiastic

I am not surprised that they joke about us. Jeremy is usually full of funny stuff. He thinks it is a hoot that I am such a "soccer Mom". Oh well i just like being interested in my kids. But I try not to be too much too clingy. I am so glad they are friends. I can't wait to meet all of you.

That is great news Sacha. How did he get in a week early? I did not get a letter from Lerm today. Was Harry pretty upbeat? I am on pins and needles today about Battlestations. I did print out my parking pass although we may take the shuttle. Will Jerm and Harry be able to ride the shuttle with us? Do we need to have our cars at PIR? Sorry I am so full of Questions, I am getting so excited. What time do you think you will get there Thursday?
