Sara,
Did you ever get my response back to you? Sometimes I am not sure where I am writing things on here.
I noticed that you are going for surgery....I will be thinking of you and praying for you that all will go well and you will be surrounded with peace and comfort during your recovery
Blessings to you and yours.
nancy
Hi Sara,
Gosh, I cannot believe I am home over a week now! It was just wonderful, I think I just was swept about all week-end with pure joy! My Sailor was quite sick tho...but did not want to get checked out because he thought he might lose liberty.
His Dad was also sick and kept dozing on the couch...Sailor was wrapped up in his computer and I just sat there and stared at him...he would look up and smile....and that is all I needed!!
Did make it to the Gurnee Mall, Giardano's pizza(did I spell that wrong?)Steven's for steak...scrumptious but we only had perhaps twenty minutes to eat it before he had to be back to the base! Also did 5 Guys Burgers, The Pot Belly and a Tea Shop. This is more than I usually do in a year!!
There was no oven in our suite which I was told there was...so the hot chocolate chips never materialized, but I don't think he minded too much...he was just so happy to have some down time. He showered each night before returning to base and that was a big thrill for him. He so appreciated the clothes to relax in too!
It was a fantastic time except for the fact that my husband could not make it..he is feeling better now and is scheduled for a biopsy on the 22nd of April.
Any and all prayers would be appreciated.
I think I tried to Friend you....but I am not sure! Sometimes I don't hit the right things!!
Thanks for checking in on me.
Have a wonderful day.
