DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi there, yes it is 9 days and counting. I haven't heard from him when BS21 is, but from other postings, they are guessing Sunday. I'm just worried about his final PFA, his knee is really acting up, I just need him to suck up and pass, so he can do BS....he is soooooo ready for PIR and would be crushed if he is ASMO'd. I will keep ya posted once he gets up to A-school, and pass your son's name onto him at PIR. Your son and of course his wonderful family will be in my prayers and thoughts as well. Take care, Karen

Nice to meet you, tnpromised! I see that our boys are in the same division 285. :) Nerve wracking waiting for the phone call today. I'm carrying my cell and home land line phone with me to every room in the house. I'm constantly checking N4M today to see if anyone has posted a "phone call" from their sailor.

Your family looks amazing...I need to get pictures up of my son Nick. His PIR is 8/13/10, and will be in Groton before your son, so I will be sure to keep posting on how the transition goes. His name is Nick Ransom if you want to mention that to your son. We are from Annapolis Maryland. Thanks for your sons service, and to you too Mom, for getting him there.
