Hi vikiboo!  My son will going to Pensacola, Fl for A school. He is going for aviation structural mechanic (AM).  My older son and I will be driving to PIR from Ohio, and will be staying at the Courtyard Marriott, it's a bit more expensive, but I thought this is a once in a life time expirence, so why not.  I am hoping to go to Sarge's meet and greet depending on when we arrive at the hotel, my ex husband  and his fiance will also be there.  We will all be at the same hotel, and it's all good, cause we all get along well.

Hope to meet you and other moms from this group, God Bless and wish your family well.

Hi vikiboo! I'm sorry I just now saw your comment.

Have you checked out the discussion "Your Sailor's Schedule Upon Arrival to GC"? in Nuke Moms? If not, definitely check that out and let me know if you have any more specific questions. :)

If you have, what kind of fields were you wanting to know about? Like their specific jobs or the training that they go through?

I am not sure if its the actaul flu. I believe it has more to do with being the cold. I just hope the sic doesn't hurt him. He finally went back to the Doc and they provided him with more meds. At least he is now on the healing portion and be able to resume. I just wait for the letters which I recieved my 3rd yesterday and the long awaited phone call #3 saturday. I am glad to have this site
