color blindness

My son went and passed his tests at the meps, but failed the color blind tests...what have your experiences been when it comes to this in the navy? What jobs can he NOT do?

Added by Ann on March 3, 2011 at 9:41pm — 2 Comments

Passed the tests

Logan came home from meps yesterday....HE PASSED all the neccessary tests except for the portion of the vision exam which shows he is indeed color blind (as i have always known)...he is extremely excited that he does indeed qualify for the NAVY, now he is just waiting to here about a job...and then i guess he takes his oath and will attend boot camp as soon as they tell him...i have read the book "when the eagle invades the nest" and highly recommend it to any NEW  navy parents...it kindof…
