OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

IF THIS SITE IS RUNNING SLOW OR FREEZES UP, check to see if you are connected on CHAT.

Disconnecting from CHAT will solve the problem.  When you first log on to Navy 4 Moms, look at the bottom right of your screen. You'll see either a red dot or a green dot. A green dot mean you are connected on CHAT, a red dot mean you are not. You should surf the N4M site after you DISCONNECT on CHAT. So if you see…

3 PIR Meet & Greets?

I noticed in the Events, that there are now 3 different Meet & Greets for PIR.  Ramada, Sarge's and Flanagans.  I really hate to see this competition and fracturing of the group.  Sarge's was just getting started as an alternative to Ramada when my Sailor PIR'd in November.  I think I actually missed out because I thought it was important that I make both of them.  I think I was the only one that did.  Hard to leave Ramada in time to go to Sarge's and hard to arrive at Sarge's after that…

In the meantime, if you want to send some to your sailor, check out the link.
