Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I can't believe Ces has been n the Navy for one year now. It's been an experience we'll not soon forget,. But all is well she loves the Navy. She is a Seabee stationed in Cali her battalion just got back from Afganistan before she arrived so no fear in her going there for a while but she will go somewhere in July or August. Thanks everyone i downloaded mozilla- firefox and downloaded my pass. One more stupid question. Are you suppose to write in the recruit name and division or was i suppose to do that on the computer. It wouldn't let me so i just went ahead and printed it. I know i sound stupid i'm really not, just not to computer savy. I'm waiting on the i'm a sailor call. Nervous can't even do the housework. We survived recovery!!!!!!!!

Well she made it through recovery finally and we graduate May 21st. She returned to a 900 division as well and she is so pumped up. She broke down so bad at first but now she has a brand new lease on life and has found GOD again and has grown from a little diva to a Sailor!! My prayers were answered and all of you helped us through this. I am so honored to have become part of such a wonderful group!! Pretty soon i should get the "I'm a Sailor call" OMG i never thought we'd make it!! The Navy…

Delayed Again!! Help!

Well i can say this has been an adventure for all of us we're 5 & a half weeks into it and she has been doing really good. Her division seems to be awesome! But yesterday i got a phone call from her. She was very upset she has been taken out of drill due to a stress fracture in her leg. She will be in recovery for 6 to 8 weeks before she can complete basic. First i would like to thank you all for excepting me in your family Wow this has already been a ride! She arrived @ MEPS on Monday for her re-swaring in ceremony and the office was closed due to excessive snow in Memphis. So on Tuesday i headed out again to Memphis which is 90 miles away (in the sleet & snow) as i arrived she calls to tell me her flight has been cancelled due to excessive snow in Chicago. She's on her way!

My oldest daughter left yesterday and is snowed in, in Memphis TN She will be re-sworn in tomorrow and hopefully fly out in the a.m. for bootcamp! I'm so proud of her but, i have this knot in my stomach. I really, really miss her. At least i will see her tomorrow, weather permitting, I have to be there!!!!!!!! I pray for all of you who have already been through this, and for those of you who are just getting started! God Bless us all!!
