My box came

Today was a rough day but I got my box. As soon as Fed Ex came I started bawling. She must get that a lot, the delivery lady was so nice, unless she thought I was a crazy lady that cried at deliveries. His phone came home with it despite him being told he could keep it! No hidden letters just his handwritten name on the box. I miss him so much.

Adding friends

My son arrived March 11th, as I wrote and I find myself loving this site but wanting to meet other moms in the same boat...no pun intended. Do I have to wait to get the letter and I know where he is or are there other suggestions. I'm craving and loving the advice and support so far and just want to get the most from this site. I haven't cried once today but I'm still going crazy not knowing anything! My from… Continue

Got the call!

He called at 11:50pm saying he's there and I'll get my box... Etc! I've said he had two minutes to talk but in one he abruptly said... "I gotta go". I'm so relieved it didn't come in the middle of the night. I was so afraid I wouldn't wake up! Boot camp has begun! I keep looking at the clock thinking, wow he's been up for almost 4 hours.... I am excited and nervous for him. I'm going to try not to cry today...

My son left today

I am so lost. My son left today and I don't know what to do, how to stay connected and can't stop crying. Please help! He's at Chicago airport now waiting for the shuttle.
