Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 03 DIV 090 First call

Just got our first call from our son!  He sounded really good and in good spirits.  Said it's pretty much what he expected.  His group is doing really well, earned flag for academics.  He is "group leader" and earned his first pin!  Not happy that group leaders have to do IT for SR mistakes tho, but dealing with it.  Said they eat well and sleep as well as to be expected with 88 guys in a room!  He said they are all counting down the days to Graduation and can't wait to get on with A school for… Continue

Missing my son...

Almost finished week two and I miss my son terribly.  I have good days and bad, but the weekends are tougher.  I have more time to think.  I find myself laughing out loud when I think of the funny things he used to say/do, and I cry on a dime when I think of what he's doing and will be doing.  I really love the book I ordered, "Honor, Courage, Commitment.  It helps to understand what he will be doing pretty much week to week.  Some things I'd rather not know though.  Can't wait to hear from… Continue

figured out....

Heading into week two, I have figured out to have tissues on me at all times....you just never know when the tears will come.  We're missing our son, and brother......Can't wait for him to call.

Yea...the address!

Got our sons address today.  Finally....now we can at least stay connected through paper!  I'll take it.

Got "The Box"

We got our sons "Box" today.  5 days after he left.  I had to smell his shirt and of course, cried!  We miss him so much.  Next, we wait for his address...........tick, tock.....

Our son left today....

Today our son left.  We are so sad it hurts.  We'll miss him so much.  Our hearts ache and the tears are many.....Be safe our son, we love you!!!
