For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A letter from our pets

Today, I decided to write a letter "from" our pets to my son, Josh. He has been really depressed lately and I felt the need to try to cheer him up!!

In the letters, I included pictures and referred to them as if they were the ones writing the letter. IE: our little mini weiner dog (who Josh trained to sneeze when she wants cheese) as well as our Australian Shepherd who seems to think it is okay for him to get in the trash because it smells like chicken and pizza. Words from our cat included... "catchting mice... that's all I do!"

I hope that this helps him as he has been feeling extremely depressed and home-sick lately. 3 more weeks to go until graduation!!!! YAY!!!!!

A beautiful female Pomeranian dog walked up to a group of 3 male dogs and said to them, "Which ever one of you can best use the words "Liver and Cheese" in a sentence, I will go out on a date with you.

The first dog, a Golden Retriever said, "I do not like Liver and Cheese." ...

The female said, "I'm not impressed" and went to the next dog.

The second male dog, a bull dog, said, "I like Liver and Cheese."

The beautiful female Pomeranian stuck her nose in the air and rolled her eyes making no comment as she turned to the 3rd male dog to see how he would use the words liver and cheese in a sentence.

The 3rd male dog, a Chihuahua, stepped toward the other two male dogs and smiled and said, "Liver alone, Cheese Mine!"
