To ktwo715 I have 4 letters ready to go already I am sure when  I get the address he will have double that to open. I promised him I would write him every other day. I called fedex and I will sign the notification they left on the door, so tomarrow they will leave it in a secure place for me. I read that the form letter comes a week after the box, is that true?

Somoza's Mom, yes, the form letter typically comes about a week after "the box", but it can be longer sometimes, because "the box" is sent at the beginning of P-days and the form letter is sent at the end of P-days.  (See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.)

I also missed the delivery of the "box" today. Was sad but I know at the end of my work day tomorrow I will be able to open it and that will make me smile :) and probably cry again.

Somoza's Mom, the list on the form letter is for you to know who he thought would be attending; he has not submitted the names yet.  Write to your SR and let him know the names of the people who will be attending so that when he turns in the names for the Access List about 2 weeks before PIR they will match the names of the people who will be attending.  See page 2 of http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/pdfs/FamilyGuide.pdf.

Somoza's Mom, thanks, I'm glad it's not a large TG. FTLW should be creating the PIR group soon. Watch in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) for the link.
