Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Confused and Concerned
My boyfriend and I have been dating for a 1yr and some change. He's leaving for boot camp in 2 months. I want to know how can we keep the communitcation open. I know he isn't allowed contact with his family for a certain amount of time but I dont want our relationship to fall apart due to lack of communication. Im kinda new to this whole navy thing and would really appreciate the advice.

Hey there firedbird, these ladies are very right! They don't have alot of time so please, please stay calm!!!! Write lots and lots of letters.Send him cards,and pictures. You should get is address about 4 or 5 days after he leaves. Stay in close contact with his mom and look thru this website so you can see what he is doing every week. when you do that it gives you alot more to talk about in your letters. The ladies you meet on here are great and will pull you through your lowest points. Beleive me there will be alot of times when this site gets you thru! Stay true to him and let him know how proud you are of him, he's counting on you!!! He does'nt need you to fall apart...stay strong....I know you can do it !!!! You can show his mom this website and it will give you both a great support system....lean on each other. Take care and hope to talk to ya real soon. Just call on me and i'll be there and so will the other ladies.....count on them!!!!

Read the comments on your page. Click MY PAGE, scroll down to the comments. Join some of the groups listed. You'll get adjust in no time. Click on Groups, use the Search function and search for groups for girlfriend, wives, etc Good luck.
