1. Renee's mom, you are here. That's a good start.
2. Denise has given you some great links. Take your time and read everything. There is a lot of information here but it requires some effort on your part to get yourself educated.
3. You will meet others in the Boot Camp moms group with sons/daughters going thru the same thing that you are going thru. Soon, you won't cry as much but will be looking forward to the next steps.
4. Use the "search" feature on this site. You can search blogs (like this one) or forum discussions on just about anything. Try it.
5. Put one foot in front of the other. Keep trying. Stay positive. Don't let your emotions get the best of you and remember this journey is about them.
Take care.
My daughter also was leaving June 12 and is now leaving on March 26th, time has gone too fast and I don't know if I'M ready.. I start to cry every time I think about it!
@kellyc where is your daughter leavin from.
She is leaving from York Pennsylvania, where is your daughter leaving from. Maybe they will be in the same group. They have a week of processing before they are actually put into divisions from what I've read.
I was just reading on your page you moved from NY a few years ago, we moved to PA from NY as well, how old is your daughter? Mine is 19, we are originally from Long Beach NY
