My daughter arrived boot camp around 10 pm 3/19/12. I guess it will be counted as 3/20/12 since they had to get processed and everything. I know exactly how you feel because me and my daughter are very close as well! She is the love of my life and I am having a very hard time being separated from her. I have cried since she left for her last MEPS 3/18/12 on the shuttle and I have not seen her since. I feel like I have lost my best friend. I know this will pass but it's tough at the moment. I go by her room and break down. I look at her computer and break down. I have her dogs with me and they help, but even they make me break down looking for her to come home each day. It's very stressful wondering how she is and if she's in pain, or sick or anything else. We got the very brief and to the point phone call last night stating she was there, she's fine, loves us, see us soon, and gotta go. That was a heart wrenching phone call. I don't know when I'll stop crying because she is my only daughter. I miss her and love her so very much. I have written letters since she left but it's too soon to mail them because I haven't received the address form letter yet and probably won't for a few days. Just writing the letters of day to day goings on only makes my heart hurt more. I hope she is okay and is dealing with her new surroundings as well as can be expected. I know one thing though, I can't wait to hear her sweet voice for the first phone call(whenever that may be) and I can't wait to see her again! I pray that God will be with her every step of the way and she will lean on him for strength when she needs it.
