I want to express my feelings but there is so much going on right now and I want to honor my son when my mind is a bit clearer. My son, Matthew James Bergman, will forever be the beat of my heart and my reason to believe in everything that is good and honorable. I hope everyone will bear with me as we endure his loss and I appreciate everyone who is offering support in this great time of need.

God Bless,

Melody Paxton

I know as parents we never expect to have to say good-bye to our children.  You are in my thoughts and prayers - and I am asking others to pray for you and your family as well.  I will be hoping that the wonderful memories you have of your beautiful son will give you peace and strength as you get through the days ahead.  HE IS A HERO
