OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son left on Feb. 21st. He came home for Christmas Dec. 21st. I can remember getting THE BOX and having that letter inside with RTC on it. I went to it immediately and it had that link for N4M's on it...

I think Brenda and Karen, Beverly, Tammy, Mary, and C from T, and the rest of PIR 4/18 helped me through those 2 months. I spent most every day on here then. Then at Flannagans, we got to meet Jackie, Donna, Cathy and all the other great women (and some husbands) in person finally. Thats what sealed it for me. The meetings. I can't wait to get to Georgia, FL, AZ, CO, California, Washington, and meet more! Kim, we're all the better for you coming to us!
