Help!! I need some boot camp advise! -- looking for other girls who shipped to GL on 3/7

Hi All- my daughter got to great lakes on 3/7 and she was one of 4 girls to ship that night.  Upon the advice of some I joined the 5/3 PIR group-  They have received their letters and are now receiving phone calls-  I haven't received anyting but her box...Is it possible they put her on hold and put her into a division that arrived the following week?  I'm getting depressed- and worried and I hate not knowing anything.... Thanks!

You could try and contact your daughters recruiter on Monday. My sons recruiter could see when his recruits had made through medical and was able to give me an address (ship # & division). I was able to figure out from the N4M website where I belonged with that info. Goodluck and ((((NMH)))

Your recruit just finished Regular P-days on Thursday, so you should be getting the form letter this week.  Even if she was held for more recruits to arrive, she would have sent the form letter on P-5.  It is possible that she was one of only a very few left over after the divisions filled and would start a division that would fill the next week and have PIR a week later (05/10/2013), but it is more likely that her PIR is 05/03/2013 even if she is in a Push division and has to wait to begin training until those who arrived on Monday or Tuesday filled the division and finish P-days this week. Phone calls are up to the RDC and although some are giving calls after only a week or two, the norm is to not receive a call until the third or fourth week.  Remember "No news is good news."  You will receive the form letter this week and you may also receive a "real" letter if she is out of P-days, but it could be another week on that if she is still in P-hold.  Based on her arrival date, she would be in a higher numbered division (possibly even 175 or 176) in the 05/03/2013 TG and they have not called yet (the highest number that called was 171 that I saw) and I haven't seen anyone with a recruit in divisions 174, 175 or 176 who has received a form letter.
