OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Blake agreed with me that it was best to do our ceremony before he leaves. I'm so excited i can hardly stand it!! I'm so excited that we only get two days as husband and wife but it makes seeing him after basic anticapated more! lol. Both of us decided, before we met, to wait until we were married to have sex. So it makes our day even more special. But it has really taken him leaving off my mind. Before we thought of this it was all I thought about. Because I was panicking because we weren't going to be able to do our traditional wedding, just a quick court house wedding to make it legal. Which there is nothing wrong with that and i would do it in a heartbeat if I had to, but it isnt what either of us wanted. We wanted our family and friends there, and i wanted the cake and dancing, and he wanted to get married at the church that his parents got married at. Which we are getting now! im so excited i wish it were tomorrow!!!! I got my dress Thursday! it is so pretty and all of the other stuff shoes, veils, headpiece, etc. I cant wait till he sees me in it! I cant believe it is only 3 months way when 2 months ago it was five!!!!! Time is going by so fast and i wish it would stop! I dnt want him to leave at all. But maybe my happiness from our wedding will carry me through those first couple of weeks...hopefully. And i will be so excited when i get to see him but sitting in those stands will KILL ME because he will be right there but i cant touch him or hug him or kiss him ARGHHHH that will be awful lol. But the whole 10 hour drive up there i will be crying his brother and my best friend are riding with me maybe, and one of them might have to drive!! Im going to need a lot of tissues in the next couple of months!!! LOL
