OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING!!!!!!! Congrats on our engagement but in the back of my mind the only thing there is him leaving...19 days after we are married he is leaving for 8 wks plus one week for whatever it is called, and i just want him home and safe...
The thing im most happy about is that i get all major holidays with him before he leaves. Like Christmas,Thanksgiving,New Years, and Valentines Day. But V day will suck because that doom and gloom cloud will be hanging over us...and ill be crying the whole night if not all that week....and the closer the Holidays keep coming the more i think about it..and on top of that the being alone so much lately and not being able to occupy myself is driving me crazy cause its all i think about...i dnt know how to prepare my heart for him to be gone...someone i love and that im soooo close to not being here...and today i was crying and he said the cutest thing.
He took my chin and made me look right in his eyes then pointed and my heart and head and said "im here with you here and here." later he said " Whitney I love you and always will." and my not so favorite " you'll be ok"

He doesnt understand how hard it is for me too let people go..and let them go without talking to them because the last time i didnt talk to some one and on their way back from there trip they died in a head on car crash....the last time i saw and talked to my gradparents was November 28,2002...they died December 1,2002...and he still doenst understand why i have such a hard time on not talking to people i love all the time

any advice welcome....
