Oh my Oh my Oh my, he made it to BC. The call came at 11:34 pm est. I was actually writing a letter to him then. !! LOL !! It was way to short!! Lot's of noise in the background and he sounded so sad and scared. I know he will do just fine and will be ok. I know that they try their best at BC to take care of our babies. I also know they have a job to do to turn them into U.S. NAVY SAILORS!! The best the world can produce!! I am so proud it feels like my chest is going to explode!! I love him so much and feel like a piece is missing from me and I look around at all the stuff he left behind. OHHHH this is going to be so hard. But, I have made up my mind if he can do it so can I! He is going to be getting into shape and so am I!! I plan to start an exercise routine asap. I want to surprise him with how much weight I loose and how good of shape I can be in. I have set this up as a challenge to myself and hope I can keep it!!! I am pretty sure he will get his wisdom teeth cut out this week, and lots of blood work and shots. (OH how he hates that stuff!!) I sit here and don't want to leave to do anything because I feel closer to him when i am on here.

Prayers goign up though and I know he is in God's hands. God has him exactly where he needs to be. In my heart I know this without a shadow of doubt. Now if my head will just get out of the way and let me be with that I'll be ok! LOL!

Well, I do have chores adn work to do so I am signing off for now! I am sure I will have many more updates and blogs to come! Hope I don't bore you to much! Much loves and prayers to our babies turning Sailors!!

From what I understand the sailors whose families can't make Christmas are adopted by local groups and churches.... Ask around on your PIR group I am sure some of the veteran mom's and other Navy mom's can better answer that question. My prayers are for you!! May God bless you and your Sailor in the Christmas time!!

I am new to this. My son Cory just left December 10 2012. I am a Navy Brat but it doesn't prepare you for your baby to go in.
