I still miss my SR terribly, but life goes on in our household! It's getting easier for my 10 yr old, knowing that he will see his big brother in March, AND he is now a big brother himself, so that helps as well.  I worry that it will be difficult all over again when we have to leave our son back in Illinois to go home!  My husband has been a big help, but I know deep down he still misses him just as much!  I miss his laugh, it was so contagious! His smile lit up the room!  He is such a wonderful person!  I am in awe at the man he has become!  I am proud to be a Navy mom!

My SR had asked me to post this on FB a while ago, and I did, but I thought I would share it on N4M as well.  It reminds me that my son is now a man....I am so very proud of him!

I have that same worry of having to say goodbye........again!  I cannot wait to see my son at PIR, and got news that he's a Grad-N-Go, so now its for hours rather than days, but I will take any time with him.  The goodbye will again break my heart, but nothing will get in my way of seeing him on the 4th!  Counting down the days!
