Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Ministry to the Military at The Lighthouse!

Please pray for us. Yvonne and I have been praying for some time now that the Lord would begin bringing servicemen and women back to our home. And that He would give Yvonne the strength to conduct our ministry on the weekends again. What with COVID-19 and Yvonne's back surgery it's been a long time since we've had young men and women in our home on the weekends.

A few weeks ago we got a text from a sailor who came to our home in 2009 who is coming through the area with his family and wants to stop by to see us! Yea!!

Then a couple of weeks ago a young lady who was part of our ministry (Laura) contacted us about a young sailor stationed at Naval Station Norfolk who she recommended our ministry to his father! We called the sailor and he will be joining us this weekend.

One of our neighbors, a Navy widow (Anita) will be joining us tomorrow night too.

We spent the day cleaning the house today in preparation for tomorrow night. My prayer request is that the Lord would give Yvonne the strength she needs. And that God would give us favor as we minister and open our home again.

We're both excited as we move forward once again.

John and Yvonne -- May God bless this ministry!  While it is unlikely that my Sailor will ever get the opportunity to cross your path, I continue to lift you both up in prayer for your health, your witness and that God will use your faithful willingness to serve Him.
