Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My son is coming home
I talked with him today...he is done. He has decided he will not appeal the discharge and will be home within 10 business days.
Of course, I will be in Hawaii which has me second guessing my trip. Thank goodness, my daughter will be home.
My world has crumbled when he left and now my world has crumbled that he lost his dream BUT I'm going to help him as much as I possibly can to find a new dream, a new goal in life.
Yes, that is what I will do...

Bless all of you! God has a different plan for your son beleive that. My son originally wanted thr marines but ot didnt work out and now he is at Navy BC. Same for your son something else will happen for him and you will look back on this and will know this is just part of his journey of his life. I know you all have to be saddened but trust in God that he has a better plan tat will suit your som just fine. Big Hugs!!

Im so sorry to hear, but the other moms are right - this path was not the path God intended for your son or for your family. This small disappointment will lead to a greater joy, you just have to be open to finding what it is. Be strong for your son, and as you said - this is what you do. We never stop being moms, helping our children when they stumble. He will stand tall and make you proud, whichever path he continues down. God bless you all!
