Our son arrived in Chicago on 2/8/11.  Wondering if there is anyone in the same group?  Look forward to hearing from others.

How do you already know his ship and division #?  My son arrived at GL on 2/7/11 and I though I had to wait for the official letter next week to know his ship and division.  Please share your secret!

Morning girls, my daughter also arrived in Chicago 2/8. Haven't yet received her box. We are here in NH so it may be another day or so.  We are thinking her PIR will be 4/8.  Getting a little antsy waiting for info re: ship/div.  Will be adding many of you to my list of moms.

Well I finally got his form letter today.  I just stared at the envelope.  Like it was some valuable gift.  And he printed so nicely.  We finally opened it went straight to his note.  He says it is going just fine...allot of yelling, like Full Metal Jacket.  But he is leader of 89 recruits, so maybe he is leader of this group.  Not sure what that really means.   Don't worry.  He is a good guy.  He was an Eagle Scout, maybe that's why.  Leadership skills.  He will be fair.  The first thing in his not was to remind me to pay his Sallie Mae account for his student loan.  lol

Also,  his PIR is 4/8 not 4/1 like we thought. So, I think we will all be on 4/8 unless our own recruit has issues and gets delayed.

Hi!  Just found out today that my son is in this division as well.  He arrived on Feb. 3.  Have received the box, but no form letter.  Has anyone received a form letter yet?  Thanks!
