Good Morning All,
It has been a whirl wind the last few days. With my son shipping out on tuesday and then trying to come back to our "normal" lives without him. We are all trying to keep busy, which with two other children is not hard. My daughter starts her senior year this year and that is craziness is a nutshell. My middle son (it is the oldest who join the navy) is getting ready to start college at the local junior college and then there is the normal business of life.
I have found myself talking more and more with my own mother. She has been a great comfort because she went through it with me and knows what it feels like. She also reminds me that "You went through it and made it, so will he." plus she keeps reminding me he has support.
My family and I are very much lucky that we have a wonderful support group of friends and family. Who are all waiting for me to get his address so that they can write to him. Plus, the support from this group it is awesome!!
