Hi All- my daughter is starting 4-1 today.  Apparently- I am not handling this to well- as I am having panic attacks and have gained 10 pounds- I don't understand it- I'm proud and I've stayed positive- I miss her like crazy but I know she's doing fantastic..How did I get to a point where i don't have panic attacks anymore?

Remember week 4 is Hell week.  They do photos (make sure she orders for you) PFA for olympic flag and guns. Week 5 brings FIREFIGHTING and week 6 is BATTLESTATIONS, gas chamber, and learning marching pattern for PIR.  :-)  :-)

Tomorrow is 5-1 for her- today is normally letter day- and nothing- a certain mailman might have an upset momma!  I know she's busy- with being on the division staff- but those letters are like christmas gifts and keeps me going...

If I am correct in counting, tomorrow is 4-5 for my son. I did recieve my normal THURSDAY letter which finds basically the whole division (185) with the stomach flu. Kinda strange they are all sick. Wonder if they ate something bad!  Thinks he is on the up and up now though.   Only 3 weeks from today and we will be in Chicago.  Can not wait to hug my boy.  Or should I say MAN  :-)

It is not unusual for many recruits to get some form of Ricky Crud.

LIZ'S MOM,   Hello!   Just checking up on you as the days draw near. ( NOT NEAR FAST ENOUGH ) How is the walking going? What ship/div is your daughter? What is your PIR date?  Mine is 5/10/13. I think my son is ahead of yours. Take care and keep her letters going. Seems to be what keeps them going too.      Melody

Proud Navy Mom- Actually my PIR is 5/10 also.. the walking when I find the time is getting a little easier-  I received a letter yesterday and she's asking for a comb-  I was like REALLY?11 oh well she's got a quirky sense of humor- I wanted her to confirm some dates but guess I will have to go by what Diannep has told me.  I am division 179, and staying at the Navy Lodge- starting to get things together to get packed.. we got new phones- and she's going to be ecstatic- woo hoo-  can' t wait- two weeks from today- I get to hug my baby girl!

where are you staying and are you going to Sarges' Meet and Greet-  We're driving so I hope we make it in time to go-  I am reserved for it.  Good luck to your SR this week!  Can't wait for our I'm a Sailor Calls!
