Need Help- to much of a rollercoaster ride.

hi- I just really need to vent- my PIR is supposed to be on 5/10- but it's on hold due to she missed her run by 90 secs- and I'm not getting the answers I need.  This kid had her flight delayed- and got to BC 2 days after her original ship out out date- with a nasty cold- on hold a week- then got to start P-days- and rolled her Anke- Then got the stomache Virus, and now a sore throat, cough and bummed up knee- This kid used to never get sick-and now I don't know what to do- I'm waiting on a call that might not come today- and I'm stressing out really bad-  I know she just needs to do this-and finish her run, but-- ugh why can't they just let her call me?!?

It's so hard when we are no longer there to supervise and make sure everything is running smoothly. That's what we moms do.  I also worry about my son being sick the majority of the time that he's been there.  They are grown up and we can only be concerned from a distant at the moment.  Your daughter will make her PIR whether it's 5/10 or the week after.  Sending you calm thoughts...

Liz'sMom,

The best thing right now is that your daughter doesn't call you now because that might mean she's not going to be at the May 10th PIR.  She still has a chance to pass her PFA and do Battlestations this week!  I'll be praying for favor upon her and that you will see her proudly at attention at this week's PIR!!

Waiting for the call from my son in 2 hours. I have a good feeling that your daughter was able to make up the 90 seconds and did battlestations. What Division???    Hope to see you on Friday at PIR. God Bless and keep the faith. God performs wonderful miracles for those who believe in him!    Take care and let me know,   Melody

Hang in there mom, trust me.... moms are the last to get any info.... the first the kids call.

If she is in FIT, I think they call on Sunday. Usually a nice long call as well. This could have changed in the past 3 years, but still hang on. You will be scheduling a visit to her A-school grad or to her duty station before you know it.
